Wine
The Babylonstoren logo, which consists of the pipe, representing the farm, the flower, representing the garden and the bird, representing nature, combines the very essence of Babylonstoren and that is keeping things simple and as true to the earth as possible.
This is exactly what we aim to achieve in our wines – truth and simplicity. True to the area we are situated in, the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, and simplicity, by making it as natural as possible.
Chenin blanc
Tropical fruit, melons and guava. This wine will make you think of summer – crisp and refreshing.
Viognier
Ripe peaches and apricots. This wine presents a nice combination of complexity as well as elegance.
Mourvedre Rose
Red fruit and strawberries. This wine is the liquid main ingredient for romantic, playful, carefree afternoons and evenings.
Babel
Black current and rose petals. A blend of 3 Bordeaux cultivars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A fusion of chocolate and liquorice.
Shiraz
White pepper, floral and spicy! Intense and concentrated. This wine is made to impress and will most definitely not disappoint.
Chardonnay
Citrus and lemons combined with a nice minerality and complemented by whiffs of vanilla coming from 11 months in barrel. This is a big wine perfect for the special occasion.
