System Administrator

Babylonstoren has an opportunity for a talented, hard-working and dedicated systems administrator to join the IT team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/data engineering, information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
• Working knowledge of computer systems (Windows, Mac and Office 365).
• Experience in data analytics (PowerBI).
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Project management skills and ability to prioritise.
• Good communication skills (Afrikaans and English).
• Quick learner and enthusiasm to develop new skills.
• Experience in the hospitality environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing systems.
• Screen and test new systems.
• Continuously improve systems and usability.
• Provide training and user support.
• Create data analytics reports to aid decision-making.
• Manage system users.
• Update systems.
