Babel’s Autumn Offering
April 19th, 2017In autumn the garden alters: at first the ripple of muted colour that transforms into ochre, orange, red and brown. Against this backdrop of colour, pine and eucalyptus stand tall and green. Along with the changing landscape and autumnal farm produce, our chefs are moved to also change the menu in Babel.
On the new Babel menu, you can expect delicately flavoured persimmons, fragrant quince, wild olives as edible garnish, honey-sweet pumpkin, the smell and crunch of apples – from roasted to juice and everything in between. We have tantalising combinations of produce gathered from our farm and are introducing the first handcrafted cheese from dairy made from jersey cow’s milk from neighbouring farms.
Booking for Babel is essential. Reservations open two months in advance and can be made between the hours of 8h00 and 17h00 on +27 (0)21 863 3852 or [email protected].
