Production Assistant

Babylonstoren has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Assistant to join the farm kitchen's ready to-eat production team.

Requirements:

• A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12)
• At least 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a production or food processing facility
• Good comprehension and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the ready-to-eat meal production process
• Available to work overtime, as well as nightshift and over weekends, when it is operationally required

Responsibilities:

• Perform general tasks in the farm kitchen facility
• Comply with food safety, as well as health and safety requirements
• Carry out health and safety procedures, as well as housekeeping procedures, according to prescribed audit guidelines
• Production and labelling of various meals
