Step into the Workshop with Soetmelksvlei’s resident blacksmith, Dan Devonshire, for an ironmongery session. Using time-honoured tools and techniques, you’ll forge your own hand-wrought pigtail braai fork – a utensil that will stand the test of time.

The price includes a shuttle from Babylonstoren, entry to Soetmelksvlei, the workshop, refreshments, as well as a generous farm-style lunch at the Old Stables Restaurant. Plus bragging rights to a beautiful hand-forged fork.
