Treat yourself or your mom to a special Mother’s Day treat by joining us for a floral cake decorating workshop with master baker Martjie Malan.

Following a short ride along the picturesque slopes of Simonsberg, we’ll descend towards the historical farmyard of Soetmelksvlei, which represents a time when life was simpler, and craftsmanship was treasured.

Here, Martjie will teach you essential palette knife cake decorating skills to create exquisite floral designs with Swiss meringue buttercream. Under her expert guidance, you’ll explore blending colours, forming petals and textures. From the basics of cake layering to the final sharp edges and finishes, this workshop is a space where your creativity can truly blossom!

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Old Stables Restaurant is included.
