Following a short ride along the picturesque slopes of Simonsberg, we’ll descend towards the historical farmyard of Soetmelksvlei, which represents a time when life was simpler, and craftsmanship was treasured. Here, Martjie will teach you the art of making her tried-and-tested chocolate cake recipe.

Guests will learn all the tips and tricks on how to mix, bake and finish a classic chocolate cake – a staple in every home and for every type of celebration. You’ll also learn to make homemade caramel and use chocolate ganache filling to decorate your cake.

After a chocolatey morning, a hearty lunch will be served at the Old Stables Restaurant.
