Green fig preserve is one of the most versatile preserves in the collective South African pantry – delicious with anything from aged cheese to sweet bakes. In this workshop, we’ll harvest our own early figs in the orchard before heading into the kitchen to transform them into this sweet, dark green delicacy.
In this hands-on workshop, farm foodie, Louzel Steyn, will guide guests to make their own preserves, using her grandma’s trusted tips on preserving the whole fruit.
Steaming coffee from our Lekker Room is served upon arrival.
