Is there anything better than biting into a ripe fig – freshly picked from the tree – in the height of summer? Join us for a hands-on workshop celebrating the rich flavour and versatility of these seasonal treasures.

You’ll taste and learn about the various cultivars growing on the farm and choose the ripest ones to take back to the kitchen. Here, you will learn how to utilise figs in different ways with Martjie Malan, preserving nature’s sweetest gift. Together, we’ll create beautiful fig-inspired treats, from artisanal fig preserve to fig rolls and fig paste.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Byzantium is included.
