Join us for a garden walk to find your favourites among all the fragrant roses of the Babylonstoren garden. Admire with us the vigorous heritage roses like Rosa Mme Alfred Carrière, Kiftsgate, Lamarque, Albéric Barbier, Albertine, Souvenir de la Malmaison and Mermaid. These sweet-smelling spectacles cover the six-metre-high towers from the old vegetable garden through the citrus block to the stone fruit block.

Guided by our own rose experts, Elzé Bresler and Comine Joubert, you’ll stroll through the rose exhibition in the Puff Adder and learn all their tricks on planting and feeding roses, as well as tips for pest control. You’ll also get some hands-on experience with pruning and dead-heading roses plus make your own tussie-mussie to take home as a fragrant souvenir.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Greenhouse Restaurant is included.
