Fishing on the farm: a family affair (for kids aged 7–12)

Note: his workshop is for children between seven and twelve years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults need to book a space for themselves as well.

Bring your little ones to experience the joy of fishing on the farm. In this hands-on and family-orientated workshop, we’ll guide youngsters with their parents to create their own fishing rod from natural materials found in the garden. We’ll also dig for worms and insects to use as bait before heading out to our farm dam to cast the lines.

Family man and farm fundi Morné Olivier will share the fundamentals of fishing as we try our luck to haul out tilapia.

Juice and gelato are included.
